We've got a week left to the Challenge, but it may top off at 10 books for me this year. I plan to do some reading over vacation but, I've had my nose buried in rulebooks and magazines these last few months. Still, I'm proud of the 10 that I got under my belt and will keep it going in the new year! I made it to 14 last year....I think it safe to say a dozen books a rear is a good average.

12 is a good average if I have another night like last night where I can't sleep then I should finish at 10 this year if not I'll call it a day at 9

Well, that was indeed it for me....10 books this year. Considering the year I had, thaat was respectable. I definitely should be rreading a lot more, as it is so relaxing, and enlightening.

Between the Destroyermen series, and then the Star Trek Vanguard series, I think I got muddled down in repetitiveness syndrome, where I got bored with reading because it started too feel never ending....that may be the danger with a series.

I think I'll switch it up, back to singles for a bit.

On the other side of the coin, I am so proud of all my Reading Challenge mates....they stepped up and joined the fray, and I think that is awesome!!! I am also humbled by our high-count readers....man, you blow my mind with the shear numbers of books read. Great job!

Let's keep this going!

Part of my "high count" was your fault  , if you had not got me started on the Destroyermen series I am not sure where I would have ended up.

I know what you mean about repetativeness though, you finish a book and you have the next one sat there saying "go on, you know you want to" and you just have no choice in the matter.
