Has the postman visited you today? Did he bring you anything nice? :lol:

Post up pics of your new kits, tools, reference books etc

Late night ebay bids have there advantage £46 with delivery although I could of swore the auction said it was the 1/700 version (tamiya bottle used to give an idea of scale), although is it a bad thing that I'm now tempted to build a 1/100 version

Ah, the times you get an E-Bay victory so astounding, you feel guilty and a little sad for the other guy.... only for a little while though. ;)

Pardon my ignorance but what are lamps finials I tried googling it but it came up with things to go on the end of curtain poles which doesn't make much sense

NICE! Photo-etch is one thing I haven't gotten into yet. I do have a couple quality kits with it included but they've been as yet, unbuilt. I've never even looked at the process of what glue to use, clipping, bending, etc.
