It seems Kenny has to take the decision of a lifetime: rules 16.1 (A26)

BTW The "W" type weapons are not affected by the posture.

Let me know what Kenny want to do!!!!!

Good job on running this game Luca, you obviously have a pretty good grasp of the game rules. ;)

Thanks !
I love this game and I try to explain the rules using them...
I hope the "math section" (heavily laden with DRMs, to hit number and so on...) and the "fiction section" mix well and maybe be interesting for who don't know Firepower...

You're doing an extraordinary job, both playing and running the game. I'm learning so much. But I'm sure making the Green Berets look bad! Hopefully I'll get better with experience.

I like to play with new friends...and I'm used to play for fun and for the good feeling to be together...also if the "pond" it's in the way!!!! ;)

The learning curve in Firepower is steep but when you understand that the game revolve around a "shopping list" of the possible actions you are in!

Knowledge is (fire)power!

Scott, it's good for FX, but in Firepower a HGN 5 "G"(penetration "1" ) under (the hex's parts you can hit are around on over the vehicle but in this case the armor is the same) a BTR-70 or BMP2 (armor value "2") is worthless...

If you look at the ill-famed "HIT LOCATION TABLES" on the blue game card you'll see that you first see if you hit the vehicle or the hex (with LGV like the IFVs it is very probable you'll hit the vehicle...) and I'll suggest to read 19.3.1 to 19.3.4 (A33,A34) to have a feeling on how behave the things what you could lob at a vehicle's hex.

Oh. I looked at the tables, but I guess I looked wrong. Seems like the game should be over then. I surely can't win at this point.

Heheh. I'd love to try another scenario if you're up for it. But first, for the benefit of myself and our audience, would you be willing to offer some tips regarding the scenario we just played? Did I make any common but fatal errors in my placements? What would've helped me win, besides better dice rolls? We wanna hear from someone experienced in these matters. ;)

I think the placements were ok but I don't remember seeing any AT assets in your roster. Were those available? No way to beat the armor, even the thin skinned BTR with just grenades without something more.
