First serious game...

Postby Lucky Luke » Sun Apr 12, 2015 3:34 am

Yesterday was the "International Table Top Day" and, by coincidence was the first time I and my daughter played Roborally (yes, on the box the age is 12+ and she is only 8 but she didn't notice...)
As usual I don't pull any punches because she have two big advantage over me:
1) her mind is very clear and sharp and
2) she is a very very very lucky girl!

The first game she won reaching the last checkpoint a full turn before me.
I won the second game with the same margin but I had to ram, shoot and shove her robot around the board to disrupt her race....

But the smile on her face is invaluable...

That is a good game, on of my best friends has it, and although I would rather play something else usually, I will sometimes play Robo-Ralley. I've actually won a few times myself.

You are right 50th, RR is a fun but "light" game....but I'm short of "no-war"games to play with my little delicate princess...

I'll really appreciate if you could remember me my above sentence when, in a handful of years, my daughter will play some blood-thirsty game...?
