The German commander receives 4 APs....

1st AP....
Fire Panther HQ in H7 @ the Russian T-34/85 in K7
-------> Roll 1 + 1 + 1 Firing = 3 ATTACK; compared to T-34/85's 9 DEFENSE
-------> RESULT: MISS :lol: :lol: :lol: ...sorry :oops: .... :lol: :lol: :lol: You rolled box cars for APs; and then snake eyes for your attack! OMG did I luck out!!! :o

I need to ponder my next move. That pesky Puma is a pain!

Turn 8, Impulse 2

The Russian commander receives 4 APs....

1st AP....
Group Move:
T-34 HQ in J6 > Hill H5/NW (the cliff bars the German from flanking me and I'm protecting my ass from the Puma)
T-34/85 in K7 >Hill I6/SW (exposed for future attack, but no choice)

OK...this is where it gets scary :shock: Just so you know, I've been paining over what to do here:

  • Do I pull back each into a Victory Hex Town and try to sit tight under bombardment for two turns? That probably the safest move I can figure, but one lucky roll on either and it's game over, as the Germans need to only occupy two towns...they already own D3, so the odds are in their favor.
  • Do I move one on the hill to take a lucky shot at the Panther HQ ...and the other back to Town L5?
  • Do I move both my units on the hills and fire at the Panther HQ in combined fire for best fire combat result chance?
  • Do I move both my units on the hills and fire one each at your Panther HQ and Puma platoons and hope the dice are kind?

Honestly, this is tough! Two turns left, though I have last move. Biggest decision of the game so far. What am I going to do, you ask? .....last option! (Loose Cannon Emery!!!)

2nd AP....
Fire T-34/85 on Hill I6 @ the German Panther HQ in G6
-------> Roll 6 + 4 + 1 Firing = 11 ATTACK; compared to Panther's 10 DEFENSE
-------> RESULT: KILL :shock:

3rd AP....
Fire T-34 HQ on Hill H5 on K7 @ the German Puma platoon in F3 long range shot
-------> Roll 5 + 3 + 1 Firing = 9 ATTACK; compared to Pumar's 8 DEFENSE
-------> RESULT: MISS KILL :o

First roll was for APs; second for T-34/85; and third for T-34 HQ

Kinda proves most of the horsepower in this game is dice rolls! Going against a Panther's 10 Defense with one shot is normally a loosing proposition!

Russians eliminate all German forces and win. Yikes! That's actually the first time I've ever eliminated all units in Tank on Tank, to my memory!

Frank....that was a hard fought, and fun scenario. Thank you!!! Want some revenge???

Holy s***, that was some mad dice rolling!

Well played Em :D A great game.

And I would love a chance to get some payback.
