Good question, thanks for doing that.

OK, just got word, and it's actually what I thought:

LOS to/from units on hills is still blocked by towns and other blocking terrain - hills just let you see over units. - Peter Bogdasarian

I'll work out my move tomorrow ....thanks for hanging in there with me! :D

Turn 6 - Phase 2, Germans

The German commander responds to action on the left flank, and takes the chance of exposing a much needed unit. He receives 3 AP's

1st AP....
Move 1x Panzer IV HQ platoon I7 > H8; Facing G9

* NOTE THE YELLOW DOTS FOR FACING

2nd AP....
Fire Panzer IV HQ H8 @ Sherman F9
-------> Roll 4 + 6 + 1 Firing = 11 ATTACK; compared to Panzer IV's 9 DEFENSE
-------> RESULT: Panzer IV platoon = KIA

3rd AP....
Move 1x Panzer IV HQ platoon GI4 > I3; Facing H3

This is what our battlefield looks like at the end of this phase.....

We now move to the American Commander for Turn 7, Phase 1, and he must now send me his orders.

My idea there was to try to draw your forces away from each other so I didn't have to take them on all at once. Drawing you out worked, but then you had a lucky roll, so...now I'm worse off than I was before. Gamble, not paid off.

Here's hoping a little luck rolls my way.

1st AP: Sherman HQ moves from D7 to F8, facing G9.
Shermans in E7 free move to F7, facing G8.
Priests in C8 free move to D8, facing E8.

2nd AP: Shermans in F8 and F7 and Priests in D8 fire at Panzer HQ in H8.

3rd AP: Shermans in D5 move to E7, facing F7.

4th AP: Shermans in D4 road march to E6 (via E4 and E5), facing F5.

I shouldn't be saying this but, what I discovered when you did that move was, a blindspot  Having my forces centered like that left a gap on the edges! So, If your guy got to that hill, I'd have been weakened? It's also why I started moving that HQ platoon on my right flank over.
