1st AP: Sherman HQ in A5 moves to C6, facing D6.
Shermans in B5 free move to D6, facing E7.
Shermans in B4 free move to D5, facing E5.

2nd AP: Shermans in D6 and Priests in A7 fire at Panzers in F7.

3rd AP: Sherman HQ in A3 moves to C4, facing D4.
Shermans in B3 free move to D4, facing E5.
Shermans in B2 free move to D3, facing E4.

4th AP: Shermans in D5 and D4 fire at Panzers in F5.

The American commander see's the enemy pulling back and pounces! ....he received 3 APs:

1st AP....
Move 1x Sherman HQ platoon hex A5 > C6; Facing D6
Free Move 1x Sherman platoon hex B5 > Woods D6; Facing E7
Free Move 1x Sherman platoon hex B4 > Woods D5; Facing E5

* NOTE THE YELLOW DOTS FOR FACING

2nd AP....
Fire Sherman D6 + Priest A7 @ Panzer IV F7
-------> Roll 3 + 5 + 2 Firing = 10 ATTACK; compared to Panzer IV's 9 DEFENSE
-------> RESULT: Panzer IV platoon = KIA

3rd AP....
Move 1x Sherman HQ platoon hex A3 > C4; Facing D4
Free Move 1x Sherman platoon hex B3 > Woods D4; Facing E5
Free Move 1x Sherman platoon hex B2 > Woods D3; Facing E4

This is what our battlefield looks like at the end of this phase.....

The German commander consolidates his rear, and takes a poke at the front! He receives 4 AP's

1st AP....
Deploy Tiger ACE to Hill I6; Facing H6

* NOTE THE YELLOW DOTS FOR FACING

2nd AP....
Move 1x Panzer IV HQ platoon F8 > H7; Facing G7
Free Move 1x Infantry platoon E8 > E7; Facing D6

3rd AP....
Move 1x Panzer IV HQ platoon G6 > Hill I5; Facing H5
Free Move 1x Panzer IV platoon F5 > Town E6; Facing D5

4th AP....
Fire Panzer IV E6 @ Sherman D6
-------> Roll 6 + 6 + 1 Firing = 13 ATTACK; compared to Panzer IV's 9 DEFENSE
-------> RESULT: Panzer IV platoon = KIA

Aw man, looks like you moved infantry with your 2nd AP and attacked with them with your 4th. Hard to remember that rule! :lol:

Man... I hate Infantry in this game! :lol: I guess part of the problem is having played just tanks so long, moves are Pavlovian for me, now. I edited the last German orders post. Thanks for the catch :D

Two platoons on the hills was a wiz of an idea, BTW.

1st AP: Sherman HQ in C6 moves to D7, facing E7.
Shermans in D5 free move to D6, facing E7.

2nd AP: Shermans in D7 and D6 attack infantry in E7.

3rd AP: Sherman HQ in C4 moves to D4, facing E5.
Shermans in D4 free move to D5, facing E6.

4th AP: Shermans in D5 and D4 and Priests in A7 fire at Panzers in E6.
