Of course, if putting food on the table is more important than your mates then I suppose we had better get used to that. "sigh"

Thanks! :D I get so many PMs...I usually purge in gusts :lol:

Turn 8 - Phase 2, Germans

The German commander uses his fearsome Tigers to full advantage (and a little luck doesn't hurt, either)! ....he received 3 APs:

1st AP....
1x Tiger platoon in hex C7 fires at the 1x Sherman platoon in Town hex E6
-------> Roll 6 + 3 = 9 + 1 Firing = 10 ATTACK; compared to Sherman's 9 DEFENSE
-------> RESULT: Sherman platoon = KIA (that was some luck, rolling the exact same as last turn!!!)

* NOTE THE YELLOW DOTS FOR FACING

2nd AP
1x Tiger platoon in hex F6 fires at the 1x Sherman HQ platoon in hex E5
-------> Roll 5 + 6 = 11 + 1 Firing = 12 ATTACK; compared to Sherman's 9 DEFENSE
-------> RESULT: Sherman platoon = KIA :shock:

3rd AP
Move 1x Tiger platoon hex C7 > D6/E6

This is what our battlefield looks like at the end of this phase.....

We now move to the American Commander for Turn 9, Phase 1, and he must now send me his orders for his phase.

GOOD GAWD

That helped. In fact, I think the score might be tied now, along with having an equal number of units per side. Things just got super interesting.

Turn 9 - Phase 1, Americans

The American commander tries for more FURY action! By Jove, these lads have finally figured out Flank Shots!!!!!!!! ....he received 4 APs:

1st AP....
Move 1x Sherman platoon hex E4 > B5/C6

* NOTE THE YELLOW DOTS FOR FACING

2nd AP
1x Sherman platoon in hex B5 tries a flank shot at the 1x Tiger platoon in hex D6
-------> Roll 5 + 6 = 11 + 1 Firing + 1 Flank Shot = 13 ATTACK; compared to Tiger's 11 DEFENSE
-------> RESULT: Tiger platoon = KIA

3rd AP....
1x Sherman platoon in hex G7 tries a flank shot at the 1x Tiger platoon in Town hex F6
-------> Roll 5 + 1 = 6 + 1 Firing + 1 Flank Shot - 1 Target in Woods = 7 ATTACK; compared to Tiger's 11 DEFENSE
-------> RESULT: Tiger platoon = MISS

4th AP...
Move 1x Sherman platoon hex G7 > F8/F7

This is what our battlefield looks like at the end of this phase.....
