Sorry....didn't notice I was holding up the show. A young lady in the audience had my attention!

Lets go 11 up. including a lane change to the inside track!

Hemmoroidicles cuts to the inside lane and charges into the last corner...the crowd stand up again...the chariot's outside wheel start biting into the ground and a dirt wake goes up....

let's roll a 2d6-CDM (Current Drive Modifier is 2)
Corner strain (and end. loss) 3
» DICE ROLL:
» Specification = 2D6 - 2
» Result = 4 + 4 [- 2] = 6

no effect!

...Hemmoroidicles shout a war cry as the chariot follow the track...

Next chit is the white one...

Lucio Faustus keeps his speed up and pray Mercury....

Corner strain (and end. loss) 5
roll a 2d6-CDM (Current Drive Modifier is 2)
» DICE ROLL:
» Specification = 2D6 - 2
» Result = 2 + 5 [- 2] = 5

...Mercury is smiling on Lucio this morning....

Selected Turn speed
  • Biggus Dickus: 10
  • Lucio Faustus: 20+whip
  • Hemmoroidicles: 19+whip

next chit is Biggus Dickus's ( Antonio's Orange ) with a current speed of 10 Movement Points :
"Notes: right Wheel damage (3 pts): if safe speed 13 is exceeded will be rolled 2d6
if the result is equal to the damage the wheel gets another point of damage
if the result is less than the wheel's damage the wheel breaks and the chariot crashes
"
the dead line is:
12-giu-16

Biggus Dickus plods ahead waiting for the other chariots...

Britannicus runs towards the outmost lane while his team run out of control along the track...

Lucio Faustus whip his team:

» DICE ROLL:
» Specification = 1D6
» Result = 6

...his speed is 20+6=26...with a slight feeling of embarrassment for such a lucky die roll, he

cross the finish line (and doesn't have to take the corner...) looking forward to honor,

money and girls, in ascending order of priority!!!!

Now let's see Hemmoroidicles'move: speed 19+whip...the whip roll is

» DICE ROLL:
» Specification = 1D6
» Result = 5

...his speed is 19+5=24 but first we have to make a corner strain check: the inner lane safe

speed is 8 so we'll roll on the 9+ column.

let's roll a 2d6-CDM (Current Drive Modifier is 2)
Corner strain (and end. loss) 9
» DICE ROLL:
» Specification = 2D6 - 2
» Result = 4 + 2 [- 2] = 4

a awesome display of skill, madness and a BIG luck lets Hemmoroidicles survive the bend...

Hemmoroidicles end his move slightly behind Biggus Dickus heavy chariot; the next turn BD has no chance to attack before Hemmoroidicles cuts the finish line himself so we can end the race!!!

race end.jpg

Before Biggus Dickus could made his last circuit Britannicus climbs the wall and leave the track...unharmed !

1st place: Lucio Faustus (and his bottomless luck)
2nd place: Hemmoroidicles (and his BIG guts)
3rd place: Biggus Dickus (and his bloodlust)

Good game with a fair share of luck, guts and crashing!!!!

WOW...that was exciting! Thank you for GMing this game, Luca....I know how much work it is, and appreciate all the members that take on the mantle of a GM.

I'd always wanted to play this game....ever since I first saw that great cover art of the box in the store so many years back. I've almost pulled the trigger several times on eBay to but it....though I think it'd be hard to find players in my area. So, playing online wass a blast!

I love the dialogue on your reports of the action along the way, too....it really showed how much storytelling brongs to a game being played out my, and the banter that goes along with it by the players.

Awesome job!!!!
