Gorgeous work! Love the camo work.

Frank, you gotta try an airbrush....it's much easier than the look. I can help you with brands and getting started should you ever take the plunge!
If you can't be a good example, be a horrible warning

I agree with Emery Frank once you try an airbrush you won't go back anyway back to the King Tiger.

The wheels are now on and painted and the aftermarket tracks are ordered and should be here sometime next week. The details on the back panel have also been painted I've tried a different method of finishing the exhaust it takes longer but hopefully it looks ok,so now I've got to decide whether to fit the mudguards or not

The tracks are fitted to the left hand side of the King Tiger, they weren't that bad but I do reckon a talented modeler would do a much better job than I have

Its coming together very well Gibbs, will you have it in Berlin as a scenario, like some of your other dio's. That could be a whole nother build, could be interesting.

Cheers

Great stuff Gibbs, so are you now onto the diorama portion or is this it for the moment, love the painted top hatch, great contrast that kind of draws you into the King!!

Sounds good, let us know what you come up with next, might I suggest a Puma perhaps?

I've got one in the stash and it is something different from what I have been doing so I may end up doing it
