Mark Chadbourn`s Swords Of Albion trilogy

Postby Frank » Wed Dec 02, 2015 9:57 am

I am half way through the second book in this great trilogy and I wish I had found this author years ago. Set during the reign of Elizabeth 1st, England is under attack from both the Spanish and a supernatural threat from The Unseelie Court, evil Fae who for centuries have preyed on humanity, tormenting and killing us for sport. They now for a reason that will become known towards the end of the first book seem to be helping the Spanish against us. It seems the only person who can stop them is "Englands greatest spy", Will Swyfte, and his companions.

These are a great mix of well researched and written historical action and fantasy
"Some believe that it is only great power that can hold evil in check. But that is not what I have found, it is the small everyday acts of normal folk that keep the darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness and love."

My... that sounds like an awesome premise. Thanks for sharing this series.
If you can't be a good example, be a horrible warning
