Doctor Sleep

Postby Frank » Fri Jun 20, 2014 4:01 pm

I have been waiting for this one for quite a while since I heard Stephen King was doing a sequel to The Shining. I have always loved King`s books and thought The Shining was one of his best and this is just as good.

This is, quite rightly, a sequel to the original book, not the film, as King is at pains to point out. A fact I heartily agree with as it really annoys me when a writer drops their original viewpoint of a story in favour of a film directors.

I've heard this was coming out and I bet it's good. King is an amazing writer, and quite a guy!!!

He is one of my favourite writers, and this one is, I think, one of his best.

I seem to remember he used to get overwhelmed by Trick or Treater's at Halloween time! As I remember it, he had a gorgeous Victorian in Maine.
