Watched this movie yesterday for the first time....and I loved it!

RED is a 2010 American action-comedy film inspired by the limited comic book series of the same name created by Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner, and published by the DC Comics imprint Homage. The film stars Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich, Mary-Louise Parker, Helen Mirren, and Karl Urban with German film director Robert Schwentke directing a screenplay by Jon Hoeber and Erich Hoeber. In the film version, the title is derived from the designation of the status of agent Frank Moses (Bruce Willis), meaning "Retired, Extremely Dangerous".

Yeah, I'd love to see this some time.

TNT has shown it several times over the past week...likely because RED2 is due out soon.

Yes, I really liked this one. But I've not seen the follow up yet. Have you seen it Em?

Yeah, I've seen 2, and it was just as good, in my estimation. They really struck gold with the cast!

Now, I've seen the follow up and that one is just as hillarious. Helen Mirren is wonderful and boy, the whole team must've had fun making these two films and it shows.

I so agree....it's a rare thing when the second film is as good as the first. I would love to see many more! A big part of the appeal for me is the age of the cast....not sucking up to Milennials! ...and rather having mature actors that just Kill It!
