Virtual Tabletop As an Artform

Postby josta59 » Tue Jun 24, 2014 1:35 pm

I didn't see this coming, but suddenly it seems I'm turning virtual tabletop creation into a hobby of its own. I was never interested in making a real tabletop, but this turns out to be really fun for me.

I did this in a couple of hours this morning. Looks like a fun scene for a night raid. What are those Soviet trucks doing in this quiet lakeside valley in Nicaragua? Looks to me like somebody's up to no good.

Thanks! I'm still tweaking it, so it's getting even better. I'll post an AAR after I play a game on it.

I wondered if those would look right to others. It's supposed to be the light from street lamps. Which is important for a night mission...movement in that zone carries consequences.

Perhaps if you placed a black dot, with two tiny rectangles on either side, smack-dab in the center of each white dot...with a bit of transparency added; it would then look like street lamps?

I thought they had something to do with setup but, now that I know they're street lamps I can see it.
