Advanced Squad Leader Pictures

Postby Duncan » Tue Feb 14, 2017 2:36 am

Lanfeng, Henan Province, China, 26 May 1938
My Japanese are victorious! The Chinese armour had a large number of malfunctions causing many of them to recall. My fighter-bombers had good effect. But mainly I just stayed hidden until the Chinese got close. Some of the melee markers are my Japanese infantry held by AFV in bypass.

The counters are in the VASSAL module.
The Chinese did initiate melee. It was a last ditch effort by the Chinese to cause some casualties for VP. There might be a building there as well, worth VP.
The module is from Action Pack #6. AP55, The Generalissimo's Own.

Next game in Jeff M. and my chronology of warfare ala ASL.
This is the DFPh of Japanese turn 2. ASL 65

8 miles southwest of NOMONHAN, MANCHUKUO, 5 July 1939
The Russians are creeping up behind their barrages towards my dug in Japanese troops.
Dust and creeping barrages means I'm pretty much just hunkering down for now.
The Russians get some BT-5 AFV next turn but I have a couple FB to deal with two of them.
