Doesn't look good for the US Navy. USS Cleveland is afire and sinking fast, out of the fight. The USN island is under barage and two of six hits needed scored. USN down to two Destroyers and it will take a miricle!

The Japanese cruiser, Yahagi is is last ship afloat. The US Navy almost pulled out that miricle game! some amazing dice rolls saved their bacon almost to the end, and were one hit away (to sink Yahagi) from winning  ...in fact, they dueled it out but, Yahagi got the winning hit before USS Barton did, but that lovely lady fought bravely to the end.

Yahagi will make port no problem, so it is an Outright win for the Japanese Imperial Navy...decimating the slightly under-armed USN and reducing the target island to ruble!

This (and other games played) concludes the playtesting and a report is off to the designer. Thanks for watching these two scenarios.
