I was planning on it, but haven't gotten to it yet. The miniatures were from two vendoes (Bergstrom and Ravenstar Studios), but I don't know if they are in manufacture anymore...it was a ling time ago :o

from the previous page....

QUOTE:

The metal fighters: Colonial Vipers, Raptors; and the Cylon Raiders, heavy Raiders and Bombers; as well as the Cylon capital ships (Y-star and Spike-star basestars_ are all from Studio Bergstrom.....

Colonial Fighters....http://studiobergstrom.com/index.php?categoryID=39 (which they call their "Galactics" line). 1-inch miniatures
Cylon Fighters....http://studiobergstrom.com/index.php?categoryID=38 (which they call their "Zylon" line). 1-inch miniatures
Cylon basestars....http://studiobergstrom.com/index.php?categoryID=57 (which they call their "Zylon" line). 4-inch miniatures "Titan"; 2-1/8 inch "X-Ship Cruiser"; 2-3/8 inch "Octopi Destroyer"; 2-7/8 inch "Mega Heavy Battleship". My game calls these something different.

Excellent quality miniatures, requiring very little cleaning of mold lines or flash. The detail is excellent, as well! If you buy some, mention you saw them here on Tin Can General!

BTW....the stands are from Studio Bergstrom and are excellent, as well.

The Colonials are harder to get...all made of resin, requiring cleaning of mold lines, some filing, and assembly. Most of them are not available anymore. but they did make some new versions that are not show-canon. My guess is some lawyers got after their tails and made them discontinue selling them, which would be a shame if that's the fact. Heck, they promote the show for free! Anyway, I got them from Ravenstar Studios....http://www.ravenstarstudios.com/

To be honest, I've bought a couple more pieces from Ravenstar Studios but they still haven't arrived. From this point on, I'll likely cast my own miniatures for the most part, and fill in the fighters with Studio Bergstrom.

Scroll through the different tabs on the vendor sites linked above and hopefully some are still available.

Hope that helps!
If you can't be a good example, be a horrible warning
