Postby KG_Panzerschreck » Wed Jan 02, 2013 3:38 am

Did/does anyone play this mini game?

Back when it came out i bought the core rulebook, and i still have it and one German Mech, but i couldnt get any of my friends into the game so i didnt bother getting any of the other books for the system. It looked like it would of been alot of fun.

Never heard of it either. Googled it and it looks like Dust Tactics. Are they the same or related?

Ive never heard of Dust Tactics.

The basic premise for this is really cool. I dont understand why the game never caught on, it has an awesome story to it.

Basicly It follows what happened IRL, but the technology is different. Instead of the internal combustion engine, the world is based on steam power. It evolved out of the early 1800's into a advanced mecanical state never seen in our world.

The people who wrote this were something. The artwork and ideas for Steam Mechs were amazing. Too bad it never caught on.

:o  :o Where have you been, man! I've only been prattling about this game FOREVER!

DUST Tactics is a board game version of the miniatures series....DUST Warfare is the diorama version. Think Nuklear Winter '68.....but with miniatures. Make sure to check around the threads....I've some cool stuff on this game posted.

I have a tuna on the way, via FedEX! Just open the box over your head and look up.
