Infinity Operation; Icestorm

Postby Darkeldar » Sun Aug 10, 2014 8:51 am

Sorry it's been awhile, but being a caregiver to my wife doesn't let me delve into the forums as I used to. But, this year my wife and I will be going to Indy for GenCon. I'll be cutting back on my usual demo duties, but Corvus Belli will be there in booth #1935. And after all these years, CB will be offering a two-person starter set, Operation; Icestorm http://www.infinitythegame.com/infinity ... nicestorm/ I was given the opportunity to purchase an pre-release copy, and the miniatures are CB's fantastic quality, with the rules giving us a glimpse into what is forthcoming with the third edition rules.
All the best freaks are here, stop staring at me!

First...your wife is lucky to have you; but if you're like me...you're luckier to have her!

To the game, this looks awesome! I've delved into the rules but have not collected any miniatures or played any time with the system. This may be just the ticket! I think CB is very smart to got the introductory route.
If you can't be a good example, be a horrible warning

Operation: Icestorm

Image The set contains two armies, terrain, dice, rulebooks.....etc.....

The Components help to get players started quickly.... miniatures, terrain, dice, templates..... etc....

The game was a great seller at Gen Con as the photo of Carlos Llauger Lorenzo // Bostria would indicate....
"Why piddle about making porridge with artillery and then send men to drown themselves in it for a hundred yards of No Man's land? Tanks mean advances of miles at a time, not yards.".
