Those are VERY cool! I've seen the buildings design in the top left corner before and love the look. But what really caught my eye were the road barricades....those are brilliant! Look fairly simple enough to craft on your own, as well.

The barricades are from AT-43, a now defunct game by Rackham. But, there are now many suppliers for terrain for science-fiction miniatures games (without the GRIMDARK) Warsenal, MicroArts Studios, Customeeple, Antenociti's Workshop, Bandua and quite a few others, make it easy to put together a boards worth of terrain. And finding scatter terrain like barricades, dumpsters and autos is becoming easier.

Well...I've gone and done it...If I wasn't before officially a demonstrator for Corvus Belli's Infinity miniatures, I am now... Since last August there was speculation when they were going to start, and this week the news came out that they were looking for the initial 100 applicants to be WarCors. A bit of a translating issue had all of the English speakers thinking they were only going to take 100 applications, not 100 applicants to be in the first batch. But I went ahead and applied anyways, quickly filling the form out, and while they offered the chance to submit another application, I told them that my quick, off-the-cuff responses, were probably more honest than taking time to consider my answers. I had to include a picture of myself, and the only picture I had available on my office computer was of me and two of the guys from CB during their first GenCon visit.

I was pretty certain that I'd be in this first group, except for a few misgivings, but with an eight year association, I was already known to be a responsible and dedicated person.

So I've got my events scheduled for Origins, and now be able to apply them towards items for purchasing direct from CB.

And I'm still going to be a booth babe at GenCon this year.

I could probably weasel a similar position..... but I'm in no way close to the qualifications and dedication easily evidenced by Darkeldar.

It's easy to get along with the Corvus Belli Staff..... they're intelligent, well-traveled courteous, inexplicably modest, and pretty gosh-darned adorable .......

I'll have to give my Brother Spanish lessons so he can be fully integrated.......

Very cool....that kind of stuff is akin to being atop the mountain with Zeus, to me! Having an opportunity to be in the gig like that, working the Halls and immersed in the world of Gaming...man, that is seriously cool stuff!!!!

Infinity is going under a reasonably subtle revision; they have produced a Starter Set to support this revision: Operation: Icestorm

Image The set contains two armies, terrain, dice, rulebooks.....etc.....

The game was a great seller at Gen Con as the photo of Carlos Llauger Lorenzo // Bostria would indicate....

Interesting....I like the idea of Starter Kits, as they help people that may otherwise feel a little intimidated, jump in to the pool!
