Forbidden Island™
Adventure...If You Dare

Image

When the Missus indicates that she wants to go to the Guardtower (our local Game Shop), one does not refuse...

For under twenty dollars, we picked up this little gem.... It is odd, in that it is not a competitive game, but a cooperative game; the players compete against the game, not each other. The players must recover treasures from the Island... the island that is sinking into the sea.... time is not a friend here.... Cooperate or fail and die......

Wil Wheaton plays Forbidden Island™ with three others, in an amusing episode of "Tabletop"

It played much the way it did on "Tabletop"..... except we won/cheated..... One has to aggressively cooperate with the other players to defeat the game.... We'll get a few more games underway shortly.....

That's a neat little game! I think it's a perfect option for those of us with significant others that aren't really digging our Geekland passions!
If you can't be a good example, be a horrible warning
