B-17: Queen of the Skies

Postby Green Commander » Tue Aug 02, 2016 11:59 am

Anybody else ever play this game? Even though it has been out of print for more than 30 years, there is a huge fan base for it, and the fan community has re-created every game element for print-and-play. You can even get the rule book on Scribd.

I try to get a mission or two done every week, but I've never had a bomber survive 25 missions.

There is also a great Vassal Module for playing it, as well.

It doesn't make for much eye-candy, but it does tell a great story.

Almost forgot. For a game play demonstration, check Stuka Joe's YouTube video log:

It's one of the few AH games that I still have from a previously large collection; haven't played it in years, though I have played it.

I've always meant to try it out...need the rules to play it in VASSAL (hint hint)
If you can't be a good example, be a horrible warning

Here are the rules as a free download:

I can send you links to all the fan-generated stuff, too. But isn't there a forum here someplace where files like that can be hosted for everybody?
