When you have really got into gaming you will probably find small rooms and doll buttons quite normal.

Never used any 10mm stuff myself so can`t really help you with that.

10mm stuff is decent; I have a few odds and end items....

Pre-painted buildings save time.... Woodland Scenics has trees and tree kits that can be very helpful in adding realism to your game table.

Hey, hope you're all doing ok this week. Yesterday I drug my three kids into an antique shop downtown to watch me buy a tiny factory I spied out two weeks ago:

Very excited to make this part of my future table. This was just $10 + tax.

Also, I actually got my wife excited to help me make a table when she realized it's basically like making the dioramas she enjoyed making as a school girl.

1 grass mat: $8.50 + tax
1 ready-made house: $17 + tax
1 ready-made factory: $10 + tax
A wife who's ready to help: priceless

Great! A hobby is more fun when shared with your spouse. I talked my wife into playing Battletech on Saturday! She normally has a "No wargames" rule, but I had a friend coming over to play and told her that it would take three or four hours, and unless she wants to go swimming at the Y, I would be busy playing Battletech. She played and ended up saying that "this game takes too long!" (she likes games that take one half to one hour). But she played! She played on the same side as my friend and they won. Though at the end of the night, no one had lost a mech yet, mine were worse for wear. But I was inner sphere vs their clan (even though I had slightly more BCV to work with).
