Interesting.... I find that my business lifes' multi-tasking and overload have greatly affected my brain power capacity to absorb new and difficult rules....so I can see where you're coming from. For me, it's still partly the challenge, but mostly the desire I've had for a long time to learn ASL.

2-1/2 weeks to the Nor'easter ASL tournament and I am behind schedule to where I'd like to be, learned and play-wise, but excited nontheless. All resources are into figuring out Infantry tactics! I am determined to have a decent showing at the Saturday Mini-tournament!!!! The winners plaque is probably just a dream but damned if I'm not going to give a run for it with my best try!

I've played ASL on and off since it came out. I still can't figure most of the rules. We have a regular Friday night group that I play with about once every two months. I am beginning to really like ASL using VASL. I can play with the rule books (I have two binders of rules) open, enjoy myself and not hold up the other guy.

Well....they say, 'The best laid plans of mice and men...'

I've not played a single move of a single scenario yet, and my first round in the tournament is 6-days off! What could go wrong?
